Guests from Scandinavia gave a good fight for European bronze medalists in the first half. Although there was an objective reason for a slow play of Lithuania.

Lithuania national team returned from Spain only last night and had full training session before the game. Players looked tired. It affected their offense and caused poor shooting.

Third quarter was different as the hosts looked much more solid scoring 37 points and letting Finns score only 6. That was a breaking point of the game.

Almost packed Siemens Arena in Vilnius thanked the players before they head to Macao for two final friendly games. Lithuania will meet United States on August 1 and Turkey on August 2.

Finland played without one of their main star Teemu Rannikko who was out due to an injury. There were two players not playing for Lithuania – Linas Kleiza and Darius Songaila.
