Zydrunas Ilgauskas will not be making his debut for Lithuania national team, Respublika daily writes. 33-year-old Cleveland Cavaliers center will not be able to play because of a back problems. He already had to miss a couple of weeks in March due to the same problem.
Ilgauskas started training individually because he wanted to come fit to the Lithuania NT camp. Though he felt strong pain in his back and was tested by Cavs' doctors. A progressing spine hernia was diagnosed.
Lithuanian basketball federation (LKF) representitives said that everything was ready for Zydrunas Ilgauskas to come and play for Lithuania except medical confirmation that he is healthy.
