The Sacramento Kings small forward Harrison Barnes, 27, has reportedly decided to decline his $25.1 million player option for the 2019-20 season to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Both sides are open to exploring a new deal.

Last season, Barnes averaged 14.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists, while shooting at 45.5 percent from the field and 40.8 percent from beyond the arc with the Kings.
