The Australian power-forward’s performance has been anything but satisfying, so Dusan Ivkovic decided to replace him for Greek A1 games with Zoran Erceg.

As we have previously mentioned Olympiacos has got more foreign players than the Greek A1 allows (total of 6 non-Greek players), so every time at least one of them must stay out. At first it was Yotam Halperin, who then replaced Zoran Erceg, but after Erceg’s good performances in Euroleague level the young Serbian power forward was re-instated in the squad, while Nielsen lost his spot.

Erceg have been averaging 4.2 ppg and 1.8 rpg in Euroleague while Nielsen has 5.6 ppg and 3.3 rpg int he same competition.
