Olympiacos have decided to replace Zoran Erceg with Yotam Halperin in their domestic Greek A1 games.

Olympiacos has got more foreigner players than allowed in Greece A1 (6), so at the start of the season Yotam Halperin was left out of the squad. The choice was between him and Zoran Erceg. The choice was attributed due to injuries of Ioannis Bourousis and Rasho Nesterovic.

But since then Olympiacos’ twin towers are 100% fit, while Loukas Mavrokefalides is having another good season while Halperin took full advantage of the playing time he got in Euroleague, against Roma, last week. So last evening Olympiacos registered the Israeli star for their domestic games, while Erceg will be only used in Euroleague from now on.

Besiktas is interested in the Serbian big guy, while Olympiacos would not mind getting rid of his big and long-term contract.
