Vechta defeated Brose Bamberg for a third time (86-90) and won the series (3-1) to qualify for the German League semi-finals.

Bamberg was in control until the beginning of the third quarter (57-47), yet Vechta went on a 5-23 run to turn things around (62-70).

Brose reacted, though, and regained the lead (86-82), but Vechta closed the game on a 0-8 run to win the game and the series.

Austin Hollins led the winners with a game-high 22 points, whereas Tyrese Rice had a team-high 19 points for the losing squad.

Vechta, which advanced to the semi-finals for the first time in the club’s history, will now face Bayern Munich.
