The New Orleans Pelicans have waived center Jason Smith and signed big man Christian Wood, who will take Smith’s roster spot.
Wood was waived by the Bucks on Tuesday to make room for point guard Tim Frazier.
This season, Wood played in 13 games with the Bucks totaling 37 points, 20 rebounds and two assists.
