The 33-year old Nikos Hatzis will continue his career with Ilisiakos as the club announced on Monday.
The veteran shooting guard (196cm) is considered to be a great addition for the recently promoted club, as he has a great and successful career behind him. At age 19 Hatzis joined AEK where he stayed for the next ten years, having a leading role in all of the club's successes like the Greek Championship in 2002, the Greek Cups in 2000 and 2001 and the Saporta Cup in 2000.
He then moved to Olympiacos for one season and subsequently to Panionios. In 2007 he returned to AEK where he averaged 8.2 points and 1.5 assists last season.
