Petrol Olimpija took to Twitter and announced that Jure Zdovc is the new head coach of the club and will replace Saso Nikitovic.
Zoran Martic was the head coach of the club in the beginning of the season. Yet, a series of unfortunate results was enough for the Slovenian team to relieve him of his duties.
Nikitovic, who replaced Martic, didn’t make a better job and, consequently, Zdovc was appointed in order to turn things around.
Zdovc, who spent the previous season with Cedevita, returns to Ljubljana for the first time in eight years.
