Spanish club signed with ukrainian rising star Sergiy Gladyr (1989, 1'96) a contract for the next three years. Although he had some offers from great european clubs, he finally signed with catalonian team, where he will be more important.
The young player comes from his native country, Ukrania, where he played last season for MBC Mykolaiv. He proved to be a great player with a bright future since he averaged 15'4 ppg, 4'3 rpg and 2'4 apg.
Gladyr was also selected in the last NBA Draft at the end of the second round, number 49, for Atlanta Hawks.
Jaume Ponsarnau, his new coach, was very satisfied with the new player of the catalonian team, since "he is a very young and talented player with a great future".
