As it was decided by the Italian clubs in their Assembly on Monday, they insist on blocking the 2009/10 Lega A season due to the Federation's decision to limit the number of non-EU players eligible to play for Italian clubs.
The clubs also decided not to allow their young Italian player to join the Italian Youth National Teams in the future.
In other decisions The Assembly of Lega has approved the applications submitted by Cimberio Varese and Vanoli Soresina to play in Serie A in the 2009-2010 season, confirming furthermore, that the other 14 clubs will stay members of the Lega. The list of teams will be officially submitted to the Italian Federation by Saturday, July 11.
