According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, the Memphis Grizzlies and the Utah Jazz have discussed the possibility of trying to exchange their starting point guards – Mike Conley and Ricky Rubio.
Grizzlies’ Mike Conley will make $30.5 million this season and $67 million over the next two seasons, meanwhile, Ricky Rubio is on the expiring $14.8 million contract with the Jazz.
In his age-31 season, Mike Conley is averaging 20.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game, while shooting at 43.3 percent from the floor and 35.9 percent from three in 33.8 minutes of action.
In his age-28 season, Ricky Rubio is averaging 12.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game, while shooting at 40.2 percent from the floor and 32.8 percent from three in 28.6 minutes of action.
