RussiaIt might be still mid-to-end June in a lazy hot summer in an even hotter and lazier Sunday evening but the Russian transfer market is vividly moving and TalkBasket presents you the latest moves from the Russian basketball scene.

As you may already know CSKA will be doing quite a lot of changes to their squad this summer so all eyes are on them so far.

Ettore Messina is out while many players including Nikos Zisis, Zoran Planinic and Terrence Morris are on the verge of leaving, at the same time CSKA is looking for a team to loan Savrasenko out again.

Instead CSKA has already signed Evegeniy Pashutin as coach and the international Russian center Dmitriy Sokolov while they are getting Anton Ponkrashov back from Khimki were he was loaned.

Staying in Moscow for now, Dynamo Moscow looks like the club hit most by the economical crisis. Very good players such as Nachbar, Pargo, Mcdonald and Chase already left while Javtokas and Lavrinovic are looking for new teams to continue their careers in. And as if that wasn't bad enough David Blatt has made it clear that he is not returning to the club.

A few kilometers away now, and in Khimki, Delfino is looking for a club in NBA, Lampe is on the verge of signing for Maccabi Tel Aviv, Anton Ponkrashov is going back to CSKA, Jorje Garbajosa wouldn't mind returning to Spain and Teemu Rannikko is wanted back by his former club Olimpija. Good news: Keith Langford of Virtus will continue his career in Khimki.

Traveling to Tatarstan now UNICS has lost Sokolov to CSKA while they released the American center Marc Jackson due to injury problems. The good news is that their new coach Chomicius is trying to sign some international Lithuanian players.

Going back to the Moscow region we see that Triumph Lyubertsy lost one of their best players, Fiedor Dmitriyev to Khimki, the same club that Piotr Gubanov of Universitet Yugra left cold Siberia for.

Aside from players, some coaches have changed professional roofs too. Notably Andriya Gavrilovic left UNICS to be an assistant for Khimki while one of the best coaches of last season, Aco Petrovic is a free agent after leaving UNICS, which he led to winning the Russian Cup.

Stay tuned for more transactions from Russia with love.
