The star of the New Orleans Pelicans Anthony Davis has reportedly requested a trade so as to join a title contender in the NBA.
The player’s agent, Rich Paul, told Adrian Wojnarowski of the ESPN that Davis has informed the Pelicans of his intention to sign with a team that will fight for the NBA Championship.
The 25-year-old had the opportunity to sign a five-year, $240M contract extension during the off-season, yet he will be unable to do so, if he leaves New Orleans.
