The Dallas Mavericks (22-26) past the Detroit Pistons (21-27) at home 106:101 (23:28, 39:26, 26:31, 18:16) and extended their winning streak to two games.

Luka Doncic was flirting with a triple-double by scoring 32 points (on 9/19 shooting, including 3/9 from three), eight assists, eight rebounds and two steals for the Mavericks.

Dennis Smith Jr. added 19 points and five assists, DeAndre Jordan (11 rebounds) and Maxi Kleber posted 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Dallas made 14 on 36 three-point attempts.

On the other hand, Blake Griffin led the Pistons with a game-high 35 points (on 12/24 shooting, including 3/9 from three). In addition, he grabbed seven boards and dished out four assists. Griffin contributed 30-plus points for his eighth game in the past 11.

Andre Drummond, after missing three games with a concussion, returned to the starting lineup and scored 23 points (on 9/16 shooting), 15 rebounds with three steals, Reggie Jackson added 12 points and nine assists.

Detroit made 12 on 38 three-point attempts.
