The Philadelphia 76ers swingman Zhaire Smith is making a return to the team, after fractured foot and food allergy issue, by joining the Delaware Blue Coats, an affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers in the G League, for non-contact practice.
The Phoenix Suns selected Smith with the No. 16 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, but immediately traded him to the Sixers. On August 6, the 19-year-old rookie broke his foot at a summer development camp.
Zhaire Smith has not played a single game as a Sixer in the regular season.
