It was reported on LNK news that the players of Zalgiris are not going to play Lithuanian Basketball League game against Nevezis unless they receive wages for at least two months. So far their only "income" was promises from the management of the club.
Zalgiris nearly lost two of their key players Jonas Maciulis and Mantas Kalnietis due to the fact that they are not being paid. The club managed to convince them to stay but the question is for how long.
