The Los Angeles Lakers (19-13) beat the New Orleans Pelicans (15-18) at home 112-104 (34-34, 35-31, 25-23, 17-16) and extended the Pelicans’ losing streak to 3 games.

The key moment of the game was the matchup between LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Before the game James said that teaming with Davis “would be incredible”.

LeBron James led the team with his third triple-double this season and helped the Lakers put an end to a two-game losing streak.

The 33-year-old veteran scored 22 points (on 8/20 shooting), grabbed 12 rebounds, handed out 14 assists and tallied 2 steals. Meanwhile, Anthony Davis posted 30 points (on 12/23 shooting), grabbed 20 boards, made 5 assists and blocked 1 shot.

Kyle Kuzma was the top scorer for the Lakers with 23 points, LeBron James posted 22 points, Brandon Ingram added 18 points and 7 rebounds, Ivica Zubac poured in 16 points (on 8/10 shooting) and 11 boards. Brandon Ingram and Rajon Rondo made return after missing 24 games combined. The Lakers’ starting five finished in double figures.

On the other hand, Anthony Davis scored 30 points, former Laker Julius Randle managed 21 points with 8 rebounds, Jrue Holiday (10 assists and 6 boards) and Darius Miller contributed 18 and 11 points, respectively. Five Pelicans finished in double figures.
