In a battle between the top two teams in the NBA, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Toronto Raptors at home (95-86).

The visitors ended the first half in front by eight (39-47) and led by as many as 13 points in the contest.

However, the hosts turned things around and outscored their opponents 56-41 in the second half to win the game and remain on top of the Western Conference.

Nikola Jokic (26 points, nine rebounds) and Jamal Murray (19 points, four assists) led the winners in scoring.

On the other hand, Kawhi Leonard (28 points, 14 rebounds) was the best player of the losing squad, which once again played without Kyle Lowry and Jonas Valanciunas.

Denver improved to 20-9, whereas Toronto dropped to 23-9, but remained on top of the East.
