One more night

CSKA MoscowCSKA Moscow needs only one win to celebrate another championship. The Champions of Europe won Khimki once again. 74-66 to go 2-0 up in the Russia's final. Contrary to the first game, it was much more difficult to Messina's players, while Khimki was the best side in the first half thanks to Pat Burke and led 37-36 at the half time.

When Langdon and Smodis decided to wake up it was all over for the visitors. Langdon with 20 points and Smodis 16 for CSKA. 17 points and 9 rebounds to Burke wasn't enough for Khimki who'll host the third game on Monday.

In Spain, Tau Vitoria won easily against Malaga 81-68 to move 1-0 up in the semi-final. It was all Spahija's guys from the first minute until the end, despite Ndong's tries to do something for Malaga in the third quarter. Planinic scored 15 points and Splitter 15 for Tau, while Ndong 19 and Haislip 13 to Malaga.

Rome needed all their experience to beat Air Avellino 68-63 in the first semi-final in Italy. The visirors never gave up during all the game and led 59-56 in the end of the third querter, but Hawkins with great 4th quarter and 6 (and the only) points by Rodrigo De La Fuente leaves the win at home.
