According to exclusive information obtained by TalkBasket, Muli Katzurin will most likely be the new coach of ALBA Berlin.
The Israeli coach has not worked in a club since last season when he led the Czech side of CEZ Nymburk to a double. Amongst others he has also coached the National Teams of Israel and Poland and major clubs such Maccabi Tel Aviv.

After leaving CEZ Nymburk last season he worked as a director of basketball operations for Israeli Basketball Association, but he stepped down today to take over ALBA Berlin.
There is no information available regarding his contract, length wise. If everything goes as planned the deal will be finalised either tomorrow or on Tuesday. The names of Bozidar Maljkovic and Matteo Boniccioli widely mentioned in the press was just a smokescreen to throw press off track.
