The Eurocup Qualifying Round has come to a close with eight teams celebrating a berth in the competition’s regular season. The second legs of the eight series provided plenty of drama, with only three of the series finishing in sweeps.

They were Besiktas ColaTurka and Hapoel Migdal on Tuesday and Benetton B. Bwin, which routed APOEL Nicosia 84-63 on Wednesday.

Two teams needed to overcome Game 1 losses to advance:  Gran Canaria 2014, which crushed KK Zagreb 96-60 behind 24 points from Jaycee Carroll, and BC Azovmash.

And three other teams  survived despite losing Game 2:  Cedevita, Galatasaray Cafe Crown, and Aris BSA 2003, which dropped a 92-93 thriller to Lukoil Academic, but made it through as P.J. Tucker posted a double-double.
