BC Triumph officially announces that Lithuanian coach Valdemaras Chomicius became the Head Coach of the team for the new season.
Valdemaras Chomicius:
– I’m very happy to become the part of Triumph club.
I’ve got some offers from European clubs (Zalgiris, VEF) during the play-off series , but all my mind was only about UNICS. I had the chance to stay in the UNICS coaching staff, but I was very interested in BC Triumph offer and signed the contract with the team from Lyubertsy.
My signing is a step forward, the new challenge for me. Triumph roster will be composed of young Russian talented players, and I like to work with young, they work hard, play and practice with all their heart, they have a good future.
I plan to name my assistants in the nearest time, there are a lot of good coaches in the club, I’m sure will find the common language with them.
