After the heavy defeat against their arch-rivals of PAOK, Aris rushed to strengthen their squad with the addition of NBA veteran Juan Dixon, who has already arrived to Thessaloniki.
Upon his arrival to the "Macedonia" airport of Thessaloniki Juan Dixon stated:
"The decision to come to europe for the first time, after spending 7 years in NBA, was a tough one for me. I played for the Atlanta Hawks at the pre-season, then I got released and I had to think what was best for the interest of my family. After serious thought, I accepted Aris' offer and i think that I made a great choice. I promise that I will work hard, I'll be a good teammate amd hopefully I'll help the team to celebrate wins."
