The Serbian center, Nikola Jokic, was the leading Denver player in the main statistical categories – he contributed 35 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, made 11 assists with 4 steals, while shooting at 100 percent from the floor. He missed just one of 11 free throws.

Nikola Jokic became the second player alongside Wilt Chamberlain in NBA history, who made a triple-double with 30 or more points without missing a field goal. Jamal Murray and Gary Harris added 26 and 18 points, respectively.

On the other hand, Devin Booker contributed 25 points and made 7 assists, T.J. Warren posted 16 points. The No. 1 overall pick, Deandre Ayton, scored 5 points and grabbed 8 boards in 23 minutes of action.
