2 days after the end of the greek playoffs, Eurocup participant Aris Thessaloniki anounced the renewal with Andrew Betts for 1 more season. The english center was a key member of the yellows in their run to 3rd place of the regular season.
"I wasn't happy with the way the season ended. I felt like i was owing something to myself and Aris. I loved being part of the team and i many times outed my desire to stay. I didn't want to change teams since i am happy at Aris and Thessaloniki. Thus from the moment i was given the chance to stay here, I never though twice about it" were his 1st statements to Aris' official website.
