Portland Trailblazers guard Damian Lillard has turned his hand to breaking stories on Twitter, on the very guys that break stories on NBA players.

The 2012-13 Rookie of the Year has channeled his inner Adrian Wojnarowski and is breaking news about where a pair of national basketball writers are headed.

Lillard first took to Twitter on Wednesday to report that ESPN’s Chris Haynes would be leaving for a job at Yahoo as a senior NBA insider.

The multi-talented guard with part-time gigs as a rap artist and now in news reporting via social media then reported that USA Today writer Sam Amick has joined the rapidly growing outlet The Athletic.

The two tweets have gone viral, with Lillard’s groundbreaking and unique reporting receiving over 4,500 retweets and nearly 20,000 likes, and he has also tweeted that he is not done yet.
