Maccabi Tel-Aviv announced today that Scottie Wilbekin joined the Israeli powerhouse, with the two sides reaching an agreement for a two-year deal.

Although it seemed Anadolu Efes were close to sign the American guard, Maccabi turned things around and paid the buy-out (one million euros).

Consequently, Wilbekin, who averaged 19.7 points, 4.8 assists and 1.6 steals with the EuroCup champions last season, has officially signed with the Israelis.
