Valencia caused an upset by downing table-toppers CSKA Moscow in a thrilling contest and Panathinaikos stood behind their outspoken owner before topping Baskonia in Athens.

Erick Green had 19 points and Bojan Dubljevic added 18 as they held off the 2016 champions CSKA Moscow 103-99.

The Liga Endesa champions seemed to be in total control when a three-pointer by Dubljevic made it 82-68 in the fourth quarter, but Cory Higgins, Nando De Colo and Will Clyburn brought CSKA within a point midway through the fourth quarter.

De Colo tied the game at 95-95 in the next-to-last minute, but a big triple by Alberto Abalde proved to be the game-changing moment as Valencia recorded a huge win.

Panathinaikos players and fans showed their support towards suspended owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos by recording an 80-76 win over Baskonia.

Kenny Gabriel was joined on 15 points by James Gist, who scored the majority of his points via Nick Calathes, who dished 11 assists to go with seven points.
