HIGHLIGHTS: EuroLeague round up (week 18, Wednesday)

Week 18 concluded on Wednesday night with Real Madrid’s Rudy Fernandez conjuring up some late magic against Baskonia and Fenerbahce holding home court against Panathinaikos.

Fenerbahce held off Panathinaikos 67-62 in a physically demanding contest that had its share of controversies.

Jason Thompson paced Fenerbahce with 14 points as they secure the head-to-head over Panathinaikos, which could prove important at the end of the regular season.

Olimpia Milano produced an offensive masterclass to end a four-game losing streak with an emphatic 101-87 victory over Unicaja Malaga, which has now lost three straight and dropped to 7-11.

Andrew Goudelock led Milano with 18 points led the hosts. Backcourt mate Jordan Theodore added a double-double with 14 points and 11 assists.

CSKA Moscow remain top of the EuroLeague pile with a resounding 110-79 win over Anadolu Efes in the Russian capital.

Cory Higgins paced the winners with 21 points as CSKA hit 18 three-pointers, one shy of the all-time record held by Montepaschi Siena in 2012.
