The first Athens derby of the EuroLeague season highlighted week six as Panathinaikos secured a vital road win over Olympiacos.

Panathinaikos improved to 4-2 in the regular season standings while Olympiacos dropped to 4-2. James Gist led the winners with 15 points.

Khimki continued their unbeaten form on their home court as they edged Baskonia 91-90 in an enthralling contest.

Anthony Gill and Alexey Shved led the winners with 20 points apiece as Khimki made it four home wins out of four. Baskonia dropped to 1-5 despite a determined effort.

EuroLeague champions Fenerbahce used a strong fourth quarter to fend off the challenge of Brose Bamberg 80-57.

Leading 54-46 after three, Fenerbahce went up a gear in the final quarter as a 15-0 run was key to a comfortable victory.

Jan Vesely paced Fenerbahce with 15 points, while Kostas Sloukas was all over the place with 11 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Brad Wanamaker had 13 points, four assists and two steals on his return to Bamberg.

Unicaja Malaga won back-to-back games for the first time this season in the EuroLeague by holding off Crvena Zvezda 79-65.

Nemanja Nedovic tallied 17 points to lead Malaga.
