Barcelona will be paying Joey Dorsey serious compensation.
After being released by the Catalan club, Dorsey lodged an appeal and has successfully won it, today.
Per Eurohoops:
Dorsey appealed to the court to protest against getting released the club back in January 2017 for disciplinary reasons. He had signed a two-year contract with the Blaugrana in summer 2016.
Barcelona has the option to readmit Dorsey and assign him to “Barca B” squad, where Tyrese Rice also plays, or pay him a sum around €1.5 M (calculating last season’s contract, this season’s salaries, judicial costs, and the above compensation) effective immediately.
