Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has said that the club will try to keep superstar Luka Doncic out of the NBA for a bit longer, but it will not be easy.
Doncic is predicted to declare for the 2018 NBA Draft and some have even said that he could be as high as a top three pick if the Slovenian declares.
In the first week of EuroLeague action, he poured in a career-high 27 points against Anadolu Efes.
“Every day that we can keep Doncic in the team is a luxury”, Perez said to Spanish newspaper “El Espanol“.
“We are talking about one of the best players in the world, at the age of 18. We all want his professional life to be the best possible, but we will work with him to see if we can keep him a little longer.”
