According to “Arizona Republic”, Phoenix Suns are close to conclude a deal which will land Josh Childress and Hidayet Turkoglu to the NBA side. Olympiacos wanted to get rid of Childress’ contract for weeks now and waited for Childress to find a new team in order to clear up some room in the budget to announce Spanoulis.

Obviously Olympiacos knew about Childress’ deal and announced Spanoulis last night. Childress is expected to earn $33 millions for five years.

After reaching an agreement with Greek A1 top scorer, Suns also agreed with Hidayet Turkoglu who will be coming over from Toronto Raptors to replace Amare Stoudemire at the pwoer forward position, who signed another Olympiacos player, Linas Kleiza, in his place.

The Turkish international star will be making almost $32 millions in the next three seasons.
