According to Serbian media, Olympiacos are laying eyes on Nemanja Bjelica in the frame of Linas Kleiza’s departure for the NBA and the Toronto Raptors as they are looking for a starting power forward.

Head Coach Dusan Ivkovic’ presence on the bench of Olympiacos could be the catalyst for the player to land in Piraeus as he is also the Head Coach of the Serbian NT, where Bjelica enjoys a starting position and this has obviously shaken Benetton Treviso’s coach Jasmin Repesa. “We don’t know what will happen. There is Minnesota and there are also some clauses in his contract. Afterall there are more teams that want him. If he comes it will be great, if not we will have more money to spend.” said Repesa.

It is to be reminded that Benetton Treviso GM, Claudio Coldebella hast stated twice that the player has agreed with the Italian club and will either play for Benetton or for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
