Marko Marinovic helped Power Electronics Valencia lift the Eurocup and secure a ticket to the next year’s Euroleague but he will not be playing in Spain next season. 27-year-old point guard confirmed to Serbian magazine ‘Sportski zurnal’ that he will be playing for Alba Berlin next season.
Marinovic averaged 6.8 points and 1.5 assists per game in last season’s Eurocup. According to the player, a large part of his decision to move to Alba was influenced by the fact that the club is coached by Luka Pavicevic. Marinovic described Alba as one of the best organizations in Europe.
