Serbian powerhouse Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade continued a re-built of its frontcourt by the addition of two young big men, Nikola Jovanovic and Stefan Jankovic, who each signed long term deals with the club.

Power forward Jankovic is a native of Serbia, who grew up in Canada and went to college in the USA. He first played and University of Missouri, then moved to University of Hawaii where he was voted as the 2016 Player of the Year in the Big West Conference.

Last season, his first professional, the 24-year-old spent in the Development League. Jankovic started it with Sioux Falls where he posted 5.9 points and 4.2 rebounds, before finishing it with Erie where he raised his averages to 13.6 points and 6.4 rebounds.

23-year-old Jovanovic, who also signed a three-year deal, grew up with Crvena Zvezda and played for its youth categories before going to the USA and enrolling to the University of Southern California.

Last year was his first professional season, which he spent in the Development League with Grand Rapids and Westchester, and has averaged 9.2 points and 6.6 rebounds for the season.

Both players are now set to make their EuroLeague debuts.
