Signing feast for Fenerbahce and a transfer per day. Yesterday it was Marko Tomas. Today it is Kaya Peker, the former giant of Efes Pilsen who after eight years jumped to the other major Istanbul team.

As announced by the club the Turkish international center signed a two-years contract, same with Marko Tomas.

Perker has also played for Besiktas, Pinar Karsiyaka and while he tried to make the jump to a higher level, he didn’t quite fit well in TAU (now Caja Laboral) and ACB and returned to Turkey.

Last season he averaged 8.3 points and 5.3 rebounds in Euroleague.

In the meantime, and on the contrary of all the rumours, Fenerbahce kept Oguz Savas as the player accepted the 2-years contract extension offered to him by the Turkish Champions. Savas averaged 7.2 points and 4 rebounds per game in last edition of Euroleague.
