Milwaukee Bucks All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo saw his NBA Finals dreams dashed in the opening rounds at the hands of the Toronto Raptors but he still has his views ahead of Game 1 on Friday.

Antetokounmpo, currently in Greece, spoke to COSMOTE TV and picked the Cleveland Cavaliers to make it back-to-back NBA titles.

“I pick the Cavs because of LeBron James,” he said sharply.

And of course when he was asked on which of the two contenders he would like to play on the upcoming Finals, if hypothetically he could join them just for two weeks, he added: “To the Cavs. I would like to see what’s he is doing, to learn from him. I would like to be close to him, my goal is this, because it’s like going to school. He said to me “well done, welcome, When I scored my first bucket in the All-Star Game”.

There’s no love lost between him, the Warriors and Draymond Green after all. Giannis was asked how Green kept him to nine points in the game between them and his response was the following: “He didn’t do it alone, it was team-work. It was like three players guarding me”.
