Khimki continues to surprise as they announced their second transfer in a matter of hours and after Sergey Monya they have landed Croatian international star Zoran Planinic from arch-rivals of CSKA Moscow!

Khimki’s GM Viktor Bichkov stated: “He has been a leader in both CSKA and Croatia NT in the past few seasons in high-level competitions. We faced many problems last season in the point guard position and we needed to reinforce the team in this particular position. And I am veyr happy that we signed Planinic for this job.”

Planinic averaged 7.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 21 games in Euroleague last season.
