Lietuvos Rytas is making lots of changes ahead of the new season. Rimas Kurtinaitis was already replaced by Drazen Anzulovic as a head coach. Five players (Stepas Babrauskas, Justas Sinica, Vidas Ginevicius, Donatas Zavackas and Aron Baynes) will leave the team and will be replaced by the new ones. In addition to these changes it was decided to change the team logo as well.
The new logo features letters ‘Lr’ just as the old one did. The shape of the logo has been changed to a more common shape for a team logo. Also, a national symbol columns of Gediminas have bee included instead of the star which was used in the old logo.
