Sergio Llull hit the game-winner in the Spanish capital for Real Madrid as they edged Barcelona 76-75 in an enthralling el’ Clasico in the Liga Endesa.

The loss is harsh on Barcelona, who were in it until the end but Llull stepped up to snatch victory, which lifts Real up to second while Barca stay fifth.

Llull had a game-high 16 points to lead the victors.

Earlier on in the same venue, Tenerife solidified top spot with a comfortable 82-63 win over Estudiantes as Tariq Kirksay paced the league leaders with 16 points as they continue their fairytale run in the league.

Below Tenerife and Real Madrid are Valencia, who remain third thanks to a resounding 101-86 home win over Playoff chasers Fuenlabrada.

Veteran Romain Sato led Valencia with 20 points as they pulled clear of Fuenlabrada in the second quarter and never looked back.

Baskonia took a fall from grace as they were stunned 87-82 by basement side Manresa who at one point took a 77-60 cushion heading into the final period.

The Vitoria-based side staged a late fightback but it wasn’t enough as they lost crucial ground in the Liga Endesa. Pere Tomas and Llouis Costa scored 14 points each as Manresa scored only their fourth win of the campaign.
