Zalgiris and Euroleague veteran, 32-year old Dainius Salenga has won himself a rare Euroleague weekgly MVP award and not only that but he also achieved it being on the losing side as his side went down in France against ASVEL.
Salenga has played in eight (out of total ten) Euroleague seasons, all wearing Zalgiris' jersey. On Thursday night he achieved a Euroleague career high with 25 points, adding 2 rebounds, 3 stelas and 2 assists to his impressive game ending the game with 28 index ranking points.
At the same game, Rawle Marshall led ASVEL to their second Euroleague win with 25 index ranking points while Daniel Santiago of Efes Pilsen did the same, leading his team to the win over the other Lithuanian club of Euroleague, Lietuvos Rytas.
