Panathinaikos have been dealt a huge blow as Mike James will be out for up to two months with an elbow injury, following successful surgery.
James, who signed for the Athens giants from Baskonia in the summer injured his right forearm in training and after undergoing a successful operation, will have a rehabilitation period of two months.
Afterwards he took to Twitter to thank everyone for the well wishes and then jokingly put that brushing his teeth has become incredibly difficult.
Thanks for all the well wishes. I'm fine. I'll be back as soon as I can.

It’s a huge blow for the Greens as they look to bounce back from their disappointing campaign in both the EuroLeague and Greek League last season. James will miss the start of both the aforementioned campaigns which includes a league game against Olympiacos in Piraeus.
James averaged 10.1 points a game for Baskonia in the EuroLeague on 42.4 percent shooting from the field, which included 86 percent from the foul line.
