Following last night’s epic encounter with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Real Madrid’s main man, Sergio Llull, has been receiving plenty of much deserved credit for his display.

The Spanish guard landed 22 points in 35 minutes including five three-pointers, four rebounds and nine assists.

It seems as though the NBA is calling the 28-year-old and he was pressed on the issue last night after the game.

“You can never close the door to the NBA, the best league in the world, but now I am very happy at Real Madrid. I am focused on trying to do my best this season and get more titles,” he said.

Not only were Llull’s statistics impressive but the manner in which he scored them gave his side a massive boost and one that would eventually see them win the game in dramatic fashion.

He scored at the end of the second, third and fourth quarters and he said, “I try to always score those kinds of baskets to help the team.”

Whether or not he goes to the NBA is another thing but to suggest anything other than the fact that he would make an excellent addition to most teams would be wrong.
