The Golden State Warriors dethroned the Phoenix Suns 120-100 to earn their sixth straight victory on Thursday night.

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 29 points; Yaxel Lendeborg added 17 points, eight rebounds, and six assists, Draymond Green had a season-high 11 assists and Georges Niang scored 13 points off the bench.

The Warriors extended their winning streak after starting the season 0-3.

On the other hand, Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Heat with 20 points and 14 rebounds, Davion Mitchell had 22 points and eight assists, while Bam Adebayo added 18 and 10 rebounds for the Heat, which was outscored 26-9 during one crucial stretch of the third.

Curry began 1 for 8 and was 2 of 10 at halftime before coming on in the third quarter and finished 9 of 19 with six three-pointers, just missing his fourth straight game with 30 or more points.

Former Warrior Klay Thompson scored 11 points in his return and reunion with his former team and received a warm ovation before the tipoff.

Thompson finished 3 of 10 a night after he sank a winning triple with a second left in overtime against the Clippers.

Andrew Wiggins also faced his former team and scored just two points on 1-of-6 shooting to go with six rebounds and four assists for the Heat.

The Heat are focused on shooting from beyond the arc, as head tactician Erik Spoelstra makes it a priority in the team’s playbook.

Meanwhile, Curry moved into 17th place on the NBA’s career scoring list by passing Oscar Robertson (26,710).

Up next: the Heat visit the Kings on Sunday, while the Warriors host the Magic on Saturday.
