Former CSKA Moscow player Demetris Nichols has signed with Panathinaikos as they look to build their roster for next season.

Nichols, who inks a one-year deal won the EuroLeague last season with the Muscovites was until then, a free agent.

It was also reported that Olympiacos were interested in the player.

The forward, who turns 32 on Sunday averaged just four points a game last season, shooting 47 percent from the field.

Greek outlet SDNA originally broke the story.
