Olympiacos presented the new jersey of the team for the upcoming season, in an event held in a central-Athens hotel.
The jersey features red and white stripes, promoting a retro feeling and honouring the clubs history, as this is how the original jersey of the team looked like. The new jersey is 30% lighter and features dry-fit technology, absorbing sweat and keeping the athlete dry.
“I hope that we start a streak of winning titles in this jersey” commented Papaloukas and added that “Retro jerseys are a global trend as even the NBA is following it. Olympiacos proves to be a pioneer in every level amongst European teams.”
Olympiacos also presented their new logo for the basketball department a few days ago.
