Jaxson Hayes has agreed to a two-year, $12 million contract with the Utah Jazz. The deal includes a team option for the 2027-28 season.

Hayes joins Utah after spending the past two seasons with the Lakers, who recently acquired Walker Kessler from the Jazz in a sign-and-trade deal.

Last season, Hayes appeared in 66 games for Los Angeles, averaging 7.5 points and 4.1 rebounds in 18.3 minutes per game. He initially signed with the Lakers ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.

The 26-year-old is expected to provide frontcourt depth for the Jazz, serving as a backup center behind Jusuf Nurkic.
