The Nuggets have emerged as another potential suitor for LeBron James after reportedly expressing interest in signing the four-time NBA champion following his decision to leave the Lakers in free agency.

Denver previously attempted to recruit James during the 2018 offseason before he ultimately signed with Los Angeles.

James has also spoken highly of Nuggets team president Josh Kroenke, previously describing him as “a very dear friend.”

A move to Denver would pair James with three-time MVP Nikola Jokic, creating one of the league’s most accomplished star duos.

While the Warriors, Cavaliers, and Heat continue to be viewed as the leading contenders for James, his reported willingness to accept less money in free agency could allow additional teams, including the Nuggets, to enter the race.
